Description

Design Story: In this design “Hunter’s Sun”, the colours of orange and yellow illuminate the land, symbolising the sun’s warmth and energy. At the heart of the design lies a meeting place, with kangaroo tracks and walking tracks, representing the community’s journey towards unity and connection. Other symbols throughout the design symbolise the land and terrain, highlighting the hunter’s deep connection to the environment. The hunter Stands proudly, overlooking the land with respect, embodying the skill, wisdom, and traditions passed down through generations. This design honours the hunter’s role in our culture and celebrates the harmony between the hunter, the land, and the sun.

If you’re looking for a unique and meaningful addition to your wardrobe, consider purchasing an Aboriginal designed product. All Gumaraa’s product designs are based off self-taught Aboriginal painter, Richard George Campbell.

Our products are designed with vibrant colours and intricate patterns and each design has its own unique story and meaning. Not only do our designs look great, but they also have a deeper significance by representing a connection to the land and to the Aboriginal people who have lived on it for thousands of years.
