Gumaraa is a certified Aboriginal education facilitator, aiming to provide immersive Aboriginal school incursion programs on the South Coast. Our team have a strong education background and are experienced working with children.

Our school incursion programs aim to educate students in fun and interactive ways. We tailor our school incursion programs to suit all ages from pre-school to year 12 depending on syllabus outcomes. Students will be able to engage in hands-on activities that are fun AND a once in a lifetime opportunity!

If you wish to plan a fun day out at an On-Country location, our incursions can also be offered as excursions. We have an array of places you can choose from to go for an excursion.

  • Smoking Ceremony (only if one of our male staff conducts the program)

  • Bush Tucker/Medicine Walk

  • Artefacts & weapons lesson

  • Traditional Aboriginal dance/ochre ceremony

  • Boomerang throwing and lesson

  • Spear throwing and lesson

  • Traditional Aboriginal art lesson

  • Aboriginal weaving lesson
