Gumaraa is a certified Aboriginal education facilitator, aiming to provide immersive Aboriginal school excursion programs on the South Coast. Our team have a strong education background and are experienced working with children.

Our school excursion programs aim to educate students in fun and interactive ways. We tailor our school excursion programs to suit all ages from pre-school to year 12 based on syllabus outcomes. Students will be able to engage in hands-on activities that are fun AND a once in a lifetime opportunity!

If you wish to stay in your area, our excursions can also be offered as incursions. We are able to travel to your school and provide most of the same activities there!

  • Bush Tucker/Medicine Walk

  • Artefacts & weapons lesson

  • Traditional Aboriginal dance/ochre ceremony

  • Spear throwing and lesson

  • Traditional Aboriginal art lesson

  • Aboriginal weaving lesson
