Description

Design Story: In this design, the colour black represents the land and the ancestors, while shades of pink symbolise the sky, sunrise, and the nurturing spirit of the community. The design features a large meeting place in the centre, representing the heart of the community where people gather to share stories, knowledge, and culture. This meeting place is surrounded by a black background, symbolising the deep connection to the land and ancestors. The pink foreground and dotted lines represent the importance of balance and harmony, as well as the beauty and strength in culture.

If you’re looking for a unique and meaningful addition to your wardrobe, consider purchasing an Aboriginal designed product. All Gumaraa’s product designs are based off self-taught Aboriginal painter, Richard George Campbell.

Our products are designed with vibrant colours and intricate patterns and each design has its own unique story and meaning. Not only do our designs look great, but they also have a deeper significance by representing a connection to the land and to the Aboriginal people who have lived on it for thousands of years.
